No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within thirty (30) days of the Fishing Camp.
TRIP PROTECTION
Trip Protection only applies to voluntary customer cancellations as outlined above.
Trip Protection fees are non-refundable.
Trip Protection does not cover:
- Online booking fees
- Weather cancellations by the Captain
- Mechanical delays
- Seasickness
- Missed departures
- Late arrivals
- Changes in fishing location or target species
- Government travel restrictions or documentation issues
WEATHER POLICY
Safety is always our highest priority.
The Captain has the sole and final authority to determine whether weather and sea conditions are safe for departure, continuation of the trip, or returning to port.
Booking a charter reserves your fishing day—not a specific type of fishing.
If offshore conditions are unsafe, your Captain may:
- Recommend an inshore, reef, wreck, bay, or alternative trip.
- Recommend rescheduling to another available date.
If the Captain cancels the trip before departure due to unsafe weather, customers may choose either:
- A full refund of charter payments (less online booking and Trip Protection fees), or
- Reschedule for another available date.
If weather causes the Captain to safely end the trip early after departure, the minimum applicable Half-Day or Three-Quarter-Day charter rate will apply based upon the amount of time spent fishing.
MECHANICAL ISSUES
Although mechanical issues are uncommon, they occasionally occur.
If a mechanical problem occurs before meaningful fishing begins:
- Two Conchs will make every reasonable effort to transfer your party to another available vessel.
- If another vessel is unavailable and you choose not to continue after repairs, a full refund will be issued. If repairs are completed and you choose to continue your trip, no additional refund or discount will apply.
If a mechanical issue occurs after fishing has begun:
- Payment is only required for the portion of the trip actually completed before the mechanical issue.
- Any refund will be determined based on actual fishing time.
The Captain will determine whether the trip can safely continue following repairs.
SEASICKNESS
Once the vessel departs the dock, seasickness does not qualify for a refund, credit, shortened charter, or discounted rate.
LATE ARRIVALS & NO-SHOWS
Charters depart promptly at the scheduled departure time.
Late arrivals do not extend the scheduled charter. If the Captain departs after the start time and you were on time, the Captain will add the time lost onto the back end of the charter.
No-Shows forfeit all deposits and payments.
CAPTAIN’S AUTHORITY
The Captain has complete authority over the operation of the vessel.
This includes, but is not limited to:
-
- Weather decisions
- Fishing locations
- Fishing techniques
- Departure and return times
- Safety decisions
- Alcohol consumption
- Passenger conduct
Failure to follow the Captain’s instructions may result in immediate termination of the charter without refund.
ALCOHOL, DRUGS & UNSAFE CONDUCT
Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited onboard.
Excessive intoxication, reckless behavior, harassment, violence, or conduct that places the crew, vessel, or other passengers at risk may result in immediate termination of the charter without refund.
GPS & LOCATION TRACKING
Our fishing locations are proprietary trade secrets developed over many years.
The use of any device or application that records, logs, shares, or tracks the vessel’s location, GPS coordinates, routes, or fishing locations—including but not limited to Navionics, Garmin ActiveCaptain, InReach tracking, Spot devices, or similar applications—is strictly prohibited.
If any prohibited tracking device or application is found recording or transmitting our vessel’s location, the charter may be immediately terminated without refund.
GRATUITY
To keep charter pricing competitive, sales tax is not charged on our fishing charters.
A minimum gratuity of twenty percent (20%) of the charter rate is required for your Captain.
Gratuities should be paid directly to your Captain whenever possible.
If a gratuity is not paid at the conclusion of the trip, Two Conchs reserves the right to charge the minimum gratuity to the credit card on file.
Tournament charters require a minimum thirty percent (30%) gratuity or ten percent (10%) per Captain or Mate, whichever is greater.
ONLINE WAIVERS
All passengers must complete and sign the required electronic liability waiver prior to departure.
Passengers who fail to complete the required waiver may not be permitted to board the vessel.
EQUIPMENT DAMAGE
Customers are responsible for any equipment intentionally damaged or damaged through negligence.
Any rod and reel lost overboard by a customer will be charged at current retail replacement value.
“When it’s in the boat, it’s ours. When it’s in the water, it’s yours.”
Customers are also responsible for repair or replacement costs for damaged electronics, coolers, tackle, safety equipment, or any other vessel property caused by negligence or misuse.
FISH REGULATIONS
All federal, state, and local fishing regulations apply.
The Captain reserves the right to release any fish required by law or any fish deemed necessary to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of hurricanes, tropical storms, pandemics, declared states of emergency, government closures, acts of God, or any event beyond the reasonable control of either party, Two Conchs will issue a Gift Certificate for the value paid so neither party suffers financial loss.
PULLEY RIDGE CHARTERS
$1000 deposit payment is required at the time of booking. The balance will be due 30 days prior to the charter.
If weather prevents departure, the trip will be rescheduled.
No refunds will be issued.
Guests purchasing Trip Protection may receive a Gift Certificate for cancellations made at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to departure, less Trip Protection and online booking fees.
Cancellations within twenty-four (24) hours are non-refundable.
TOURNAMENT CHARTERS
- The first one hundred (100) gallons of fuel per fishing day and pre-fishing day are included.
- Fuel used beyond one hundred (100) gallons will be billed at the current dock price.
- Ten-Hour Offshore Charters do not incur an additional fuel surcharge.
- Live bait is billed separately.
- Out of town Tournaments or Custom Charters, the customers are responsible for lodging, meals, travel expenses, dockage, tournament entry fees, Calcutta fees, and any required videographer expenses unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Travel days are billed at fifty percent (50%) of the applicable charter rate plus fuel.
- Tournament winnings will be distributed:
- 70% Customer
- 30% Crew
Tournament entry fees and Calcutta fees are deducted before prize money is divided.
Tournament charters require a minimum thirty percent (30%) gratuity.
PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE
Unless otherwise requested in writing prior to departure, Two Conchs Charters reserves the right to photograph or video your charter and use such media for advertising, television, social media, promotional materials, and marketing purposes.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These policies constitute the entire agreement between Two Conchs Charters and the customer regarding charter reservations and supersede any prior verbal discussions or representations.
Two Conchs Charters reserves the right to modify these policies at any time without prior notice. The policies in effect on the date the reservation is booked shall govern that reservation.
